Lindsay is a Michigan native and honored to join the Westshore Law team. Originally from Traverse City, Lindsay received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Hope College. In 2010, she received her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, Lindsay served on the Board of Editors for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, and she was also actively involved in litigation, serving as Chairperson of the Grand Rapids Moot Court Board, earning a First-Best Advocate Award, and serving on the Cooley National Moot Court Team. Lindsay earned the highest grade in several of her law school classes, and she was also the recipient of many law school awards.
This Northern Star earned her license in 2010 and has worked extensively in private practice as a litigation attorney, focusing on family law, employment law, and charter school law. Lindsay also had the opportunity to work for the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office as a Prosecuting Attorney. Lindsay joined the Westshore Law team in 2016 and refocused her training and education on Estate Planning and Long-Term Care planning. She currently teaches Elder Law classes at WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Lindsay’s vast experience, both in and out of the courtroom, allows her to effectively and zealously advocate for her clients' best interests. Lindsay is dedicated to receiving the best results for her clients. She works tirelessly to ensure their voice is heard. Lindsay lives in Grand Haven with her husband, two children, and their dogs K9 Max and Dixie. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys running, biking, and spending time outdoors with her family. She is an active member of Harvest Bible Chapel in Grand Haven.
