Linda has been in private practice since 1990 and joined Westshore Law in 2012. Linda retired in 2018 but continues to serve as a mentor and consultant for the firm.
Linda specializes in elder law and she is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to handle Veterans Benefits.
Her passion in the elder law area and for those with disabilities was fueled by her father’s battle with Alzheimer’s Disease and his years of long term care. Because of this personal experience, Linda provides both legal and practical counsel to families faced with disabling illnesses.
Linda is proud to be from a “God and country” family. This upbringing led her to major in Criminal Justice in college, become a certified police officer, and later serve as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Muskegon County. Her desire to assist military personnel comes naturally because many members of her family have proudly served in the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. As a result of this family philosophy of community service, Linda is a member of various local boards and organizations that focus on assisting the elderly. Linda lives in North Muskegon, and is an active parishioner in the Community United Methodist Church. Although Muskegon is now home, Linda’s heart remains in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where she was born and raised.
