The Position: We are seeking a full-time legal secretary/legal assistant. This is a position we call "Director of Client Relations" because the person that serves in this role is the first point of contact for the client. We can be flexible with the hours based upon the needs of the right candidate.

Responsibilities: The core duties of this position include the following:
Be first point of contact for client and project a professional and welcoming demeanor;
Organize and manage calendar for Attorneys;
Take ownership of client files by ensuring the electronic and paper files are organized, updated, and accurate;
Prepare for client signing appointments in a timely and efficient manner;
Keep office neat and tidy;
Manage and track files;
Stock office supplies;
Assist Attorneys with basic legal work, as requested;
Answer phone calls;
Proof read, file, and scan documents;
Run errands for firm and/or attorneys; and
Other tasks, as requested.
The Location: Westshore Law is based in Spring Lake, Michigan, and serves Newaygo, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties.

Experience as a legal assistant and/or receptionist is highly desired but not required.
