Allison co-founded Westshore Law in 2011. She eventually left the practice to grow her family but happily re-joined the Westshore Law team in 2016. Allison brings with her a wide array of experience to Westshore Law and the clients she serves.
Allison has worked as a law clerk, intern with the prosecutor's office, public defender, grant writer, private practice attorney, college and law school professor, and nonprofit board member. Allison now devotes her continuing education and professional efforts to honing her Elder Law expertise. Allison's veritable experiences allow her to be practical but savvy and effective in advocating for her client's legal interests. Allison is committed to using her legal expertise and cleverness to help solve legal issues and restore peace of mind to her clients.
Although Allison now calls West Michigan home, this Southern Belle was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Allison attended undergraduate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated with honors. In 2009, Allison graduated in the top 6% of her class, with high honors, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Cooley, she received many awards, was a member of the Law Review, and earned the highest grade in several classes. Allison is a published legal author.
Allison lives in Norton Shores with her husband, four daughters, and dogs Cleopatra and Millicent. Allison's community involvement includes serving as a precinct delegate, coaching Girls on the Run, volunteering at her children's school, and donating time to a Michigan-based nonprofit. She is an active member of her home church, Harvest Bible Chapel.
